I was a 6th month preemie. So this really hit home for me; not that my mother would EVER have tried to abort any baby.

I was born during WW II, my father was in the then Army-Airforce, so not home.

My mother said that during times of war, more babies are premature. I don't know how true that is, but my mother REALLY knew her stuff, so I'm going with what she said.
