“Unusual incident.”
One night I was awakened by helicopters with searchlight light8ng up the canal behind my house.
I grabbed my .357 and got everybody low on the floor.
I never considered going outside.
Similar happening with my, at my former home in Columbia, Maryland. A greenbelt ran behind my building that wannabe gangsters liked to use to shoot trees at night. A helicopter hovered just over the trees for 5 minutes.
Like you, I was smart enough not to go outside with a gun.
