It died for me 7 years ago with the Last Jedi. Haven’t watched or seen anything since. Of course for some it died for them in 1977 after they weren’t enamoured with the debut. I have to get rid of my collectables eventually. I gave a bunch away already. Mostly posters and some magazines. I suppose I should someday change my FR nickname since its an obscure reference in that first movie.
