Trump did it wrong.
Trump has sought peace. He has tried to respect both Russia and Ukraine. Mostly, he has advocated for the poor people caught in the middle. He advocates for the young soldiers, the farmers, and those whose towns and generational homes have been destroyed. He has advocated for ending the conflict that could lead to Thermonuclear war. When war has raged for 3 years, ‘Leaders’ tend to be invested in the death they created, and want completion.
Trump doesn’t have it wrong, he just has a really tough job cleaning up the mess of multiple malevolent individuals. Vlad the Invader, who keeps invading his neighbors. Little z, who has delusions of greatness for Ukraine and is betting the house on a pair of two’s. Obama, who said he wanted a ‘reset’ with Russia while he conspired with Soros to overthrow the Ukrainian government. Then there is good ole Joe Biden, who committed Treason by taking money from Ukraine and threatening to cut off it’s aid if it caused problems for the ‘payment’ system.
Will Trump succeed? I hope so. Ukraine won’t survive if they don’t make a deal. Russia is getting weaker, and China sits on it’s southern border like an opportunistic predator. Europe, eager to show they still matter, is rattling sabers that could plunge the world into the nuclear abyss. In the meantime the average person suffers and Ukrainian food production, which prevents starvation in many parts of the world, is compromised. So I am hoping Trump can get a deal done here.

China is supporting Russia but on their own terms.
Not good for Russia in the long term.
Elements of these bad actors persist.
