Vance is saying the US is ready to walk away. This is what we should have done years ago.

Turkey will mediate the peace deal if the U.S. walks away. Be careful what you wish for.
To: marcusmaximus
Then Trump should walk away and let Europe deal with it.

The fake new story planted in the Financial Times about Russia's negotiating position failed to persuade Sec. Rubio to attend the meeting in London.

Call it “Biden’s War” and walk away, Trump. Let Obersturmfuhrer Von Der Leyen handle it.

Only if it recognizes Russia’s sovereignty over the Baltics and Poland.

Polish foreign minister denounces Russian aggression: ‘Don’t you have enough land?’ Poland’s foreign minister on Wednesday used an annual address to parliament to send a sharp message to Russian leaders as war continues in neighboring Ukraine, asking: “Don’t you have enough land?”
Poland, on NATO’s eastern flank, is one of Kyiv’s strongest supporters, and Sikorski used his speech to strongly criticize Russia.
He said, addressing Russian leaders: “Don’t you have enough land? Eleven time zones and still not enough? Take care of better governing what is within your borders according to international law.”

What kind of a bad peace deal could Turkey mediate instead, if the US walked away? Why would the US care?

they have not yet managed to bridge their differences on several points Having signed previous treaties with Putin which he violated, Ukraine wants a security guarantee avoiding future Russian invasions, ie NATO or peacekeeping western troops, both of which are opposed by Putin.

Kyiv wants a ceasefire. Warmongering Kremlin Bolsheviks want more mass murder and industrial scale destruction.
