the one question that the judges do not answer is what is the legal status difference between an illegal criminals rights if they spend 10 years hiding in the US, stealing, being true to their gang, making under the table nontaxed money and a gang member that flies in at an airport or border crossing and sees 1 or 2 border security officers with his gang affiliation tats and no papers and gets told they may not proceed and returned to their country. no money spent or court dates given, just rejected for cause. the courts allow this every day at the border.
