A couple years ago I used a water vapor steam under high pressure. I came out of it fully functional.

But I still have to take finasteride and flomax.

The Doctor told me I could stop taking those 2 medications, after the surgery.

I had a TURP operation about a year and a half ago. Overnight in the hospital, not even an aspirin worth of pain, out hunting quail within a week. No aftereffects except for urgent urination for a couple of months, but that eventually subsided. No ongoing medication (at least for urologic matters), but the doctor wants a visit once a year for the time being.

All in all, I’ve been quite lucky. Plenty of prostate trouble in the family, including cancer that killed my father at 77.
