“Man is a carnivore. That is how we evolved. Ignore truth at your peril”

No man and all other of the Sapiens are omnivores, and until very recently in geological time were scavengers. Humans only developed mass hunting skills in the last 50,000 years at best we have been humans for five times as long and our predecessor Homo.Sapian vs modern Homo.Sapian.Sapian goes back over a million years, with the Homo genus line going back 5 million more. This is clearly biologically evident by our stomach acid continent being strong enough to kill bacteria and digest small bones. Our HCL ph2 or under in our stomachs rival that of true scavengers. We were gatherers and scavengers for most of our existence the hunter part only after we evolved larger brain cases and spears, then atlatls ,then bows with anything other than spears being a 17,000-20000 year old advancement. It was far easier to scavenge a recent kill by scarring off a true predator and taking the left overs than trying to run down an animal twice or three times as fast on foot with spears.

Our teeth also are not any where near obligate carnivore in structure just having canines is not an indicator of obligate carnivorous dental sstructure. We have incisor teeth and grinding molars both of which are designed for cutting and grinding plant matter. Look at a cats mouth it’s teeth are obligate carnivore teeth we lack teeth like that.

Fact is we are omnivores and our digestive track is set up for that specifically. We can digest whole scraps like fish heads and small fish entirely bones and all. Contrary to the we will not eat ze bugs Qtards humans do eat bugs have in large quantities for all of our existence , their exoskeleton are perfectly digestible in human stomach acid , ever seen an Asian eat shrimp or a crab? Yeah shell and all without a care in the world. Andrew Zimmer n says get down on them like a sea otter he is of course right.

Embrace what evolution has given us a wonderful and capable digestive system that makes nearly every form of protein be it animal, plant, decapod, arthropod, cephalopod all digest in HCL based systems. We can use nearly every sugar and starch too, HCL breaks starches into sugars quite well. We have an appendix it’s vestigial now but in other mammals it forms the hind gut where symbiotic bacteria live that can digest cellulose. Horses, pigs and rabbits have functional hind guts. Thus indicating at some point in our past the Homo genus had the ability to digest cellulose materials as well. We could with GMO bacteria add the cellulase enzyme pproduction capability to human gut track gram negative bacterial mass. This would inoculate that person to be able to digest cellulose into sugars once again , eating salads would not be low kcal anymore as the leaves would be turned to sugars in your intestines by the bacterial mass. Think space travel as a war never taking animals into deep space the mass balance and feed ,water, oxygen and housing volume requirements due to physics will not allow it.

Cryptic diversity of cellulose-degrading gut bacteria in industrialized humans

There is no doubt we are losing the microbes that turn fiber into food for a healthy gut. How can urban dwelling industrialized humans counteract this evolutionary decline? Eat more fiber !
