I heard a motivational speech by a businessman who survived after being evacuated from the Twin Towers on 9-11. He related being led through tunnels to escape before the collapse of the buildings, and walking past other evacuees who stopped to place an order at Starbucks.

Eek! The implication being those people died from delaying escape before they were all the way to safety.
