that’s what i’m wondering...how could a rabbit survive 20,000 feet?

The only things I can possibly conceive:

1. The rabbit hopped up into the air intake of the engine before taking off. But how would they have gotten off the ground? It would have been sucked in and the damage done when they first spun up the engines.

2. A bald eagle snagged a rabbit and carried it skyward, only to drop it in the path of the jetliner shortly after taking off. This would be a one-in-a-trillion event but I suppose it's conceivable.

3rd option is that someone misspoke and this is just a birdstrike. But that's not nearly as much fun...
