About thirty years ago, I had a friend who was remarkably handsome and had a great job. Nevertheless, he just could not find a woman to marry. One day, he found a book of Russian women seeking U.S. husbands. Half a dozen of us sat around one night drinking and looking at it, and I decided to try an experiment. The book contained a picture of each woman with a precis of her background, her physical measurements, her education and profession. In truth, all of the women were attractive and well educated. I had everyone write down their first five choices and then we compared them. No women appeared on any two lists; all were different. The point is that male taste in women so highly variable, at least within a certain range.
