To my admittedly untrained eye that looks like a sinkhole.

No crater rim as I'd expect from an impact crater.
No lava flow as I'd expect from a volcanic crater.

Just a slumped in cone as I'd expect from surface collapse due to underground water erosion...

the melted areas of the snow says that hole gurgled a little to create droplets recently.

Yeah, that’s what it looks like to me, too. Not the first one spotted on Mars.

The Moon has them, too, most likely from a collapsed lava tube.
