I get everything he’s saying. Happened to me. I’m a diabetic but I refuse to take insulin. All my blood tests showed horrendous numbers for everything. I’ve gone on 6 mo experiments of various diet restrictions and showed moderate improvements on some. Finally gave in to my internist’s pushing a diabetes pill - Rybelsus. Came back in a month a bit panicked that I was losing weight. And got laughed at.
The movement into good numbers in my blood tests was almost miraculous. After almost a year, they’re fabulous and the doctor is thrilled. Aches and pains of decades have stopped and I’ve lost 40 lbs and am now plateaued. No side effects WHATSOEVER. My mental health is good, but then I’ve always been an optimist. Haven’t accomplished anything creatively in the last year, which I’m hesitant to attribute to anything but laziness. No writing, no video production. Just massive files of catalogued and rated Chinese videos. And huge amounts of learning to cook Chinese and Indian food. My spice shelves overflow with things I never heard of a year ago. Had no idea I could feel this good at age 80. Simply stunned by the change in health. And grateful I listened to my doctor.
Congratulations for your life-altering changes leading to improved health and well being. Cheers!
