Oddly, although my friends and contemporaries are getting and passing from the diseases of aging, I look fifteen years younger than I am and have such good test results that my doctor shakes his head. And, to be optimistic, the shingles pain is much less extensive than it used to be, which indicates healing.
Excellent! My wife has a friend who just turned 80, and she absolutely doesn’t look it! She looks like she could be in her mid 60s. Not only do some people have good genes, but how they take care of themselves matters, too. I have the usual age-related problems. Tomorrow I have an appointment with the eye doctor. One of my eyes, I fear, needs attention I believe I have a cataract and floaters galore.
I know I have had mild cataracts in both eyes for some time, my right eye seems to have gotten worse lately. At least I hope that’s all it is.
