When I moved to San Francisco in summer 1973, the Vaillancourt Fountain (which is very close to Naked Woman) was only two years old and was very controversial. Most people considered it to be very ugly. Being a mechanical engineer working in power plants with massive piping systems, I naturally liked it...but only when it had water flowing.
The good libs turn it off when droughts hit: 2001–2004 (drought), winter 2007–2008 (water was splashing skaters in the nearby skating rink), 2014–2017 (drought), and 2024–Present (the fountain was drained and turned off in June 2024 after its pumps failed and the electrical system showed significant issues. As of the latest reports, it remains off while the city assesses whether to repair or replace the systems, with no immediate plans to refill it.)
Of course, nothing beats the San Jose, CA Quetzalcoatl "Pile of Sh!t" statue for sheer beauty!
Looks more lifelike than Nanzi Pelosi.
I am a huge fan of female anatomy. That’s a touch too much. Hat tip to Bon and Malcom.

45 COMMUNIST GOALS AS READ INTO THE CONGRESSIONAL RECORD, 1963
22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”
23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”
