BUT they being in the sea.
When I lived in SF, I’d go down to the beach to watch them. A lot of people did.
Last time I was at Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco, crowds of tourists and visitors congregated a few yards away from the beach, where dozens of Sea Lions lay around, sunning themselves as they waited for snacks to be thrown by the crowds. I couldn’t get away fast enough.
That odor was awful. Like the biggest latrine in this hemisphere. I don’t find them at all fascinating.
