I read a few years ago that by 2030, more players in the NFL will be from the U.S. than Canada.
Wait until Mexico overtakes them.

I used to love to answer the phone to our Canadian subsidiaries when I worked in manufacturing.

Canada went downhill since NAFTA, last time they won The Cup was in 93.
And they Montreal Canadiens beat Gretzky and the L.A. Kings.
Seriously, half of the NHL players are Canadien. I'm a Kings fan originally from Connecticut, so I was proud when Milford Connecticut's Jonathan Quick won the Stanley Cup with the Kings as a star goalie. But most players on these "U.S." teams are Canadian, Swedish, or Russian. Like Seinfeld said, "It's rooting for laundry."
