Bette Midler is singing songs of joy after getting rid of her Tesla.
“What a joyful day!” the diva posted on Instagram and Bluesky. “I sold my (gulp) Tesla!”
Though Midler is known for her environmental advocacy, she celebrated ditching the electric vehicle, saying she sees Tesla as “a symbol of racism, greed and ignorance” due to its association with CEO Elon Musk.

People of all races drive Teslas. People of all races can buy Teslas, Tesla stock, and anything else Tesla related they so desire. Speaking of greed, how big is her house and how many people live there with her? Ignorance is pure projection on her part.

Bette is 79 years old... you would think that someone who had been working as long as she had in a profession where you are required to memorize lines would not be such an idiot. But as we have seen with De Niro and others... being able to memorize lines is not a very good indicator of intelligence or judgment.
