I didn’t want to say it but had it been me I would have not been on the tracks with him, but I would have been on the phone with 911. Not an easy decision. When seconds count, the police and all other responders are minutes away.
The brother and father made the best decision they could, it wasn't enough.

Not an easy decision. When seconds count, the police and all other responders are minutes away. The brother and father made the best decision they could, it wasn't enough. Agree. Had the father and sane young man jumped off the tracks and they saw their brother/son get hit by the train, that would have been very hard to get over. If the father and son had perished going into a burning building to save their son/brother, I wonder if the reaction would be different.
