$1 million does not sound like a lot of money in savings for all the efficiency that apparently occurred.

A million here, a million there, pretty soon it adds up to real money.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) paid hundreds of thousands of dollars a month for website changes before canceling the contract and having an internal staffer take over. While combing through loads and loads of data, DOGE discovered a previous contract by the VA for its website maintenance. Most reporters - even those at FOX - don't understand math. Yes, one of these savings will save a million dollaars - many more will save millions of dollars a year EVERY YEAR.
