The Democrats’ superiority complex
American Thinker ^ | 3 Apr, 2025 | Patricia McCarthy

That's where they think their right to rule us comes from.

“A superiority complex is a defense mechanism that develops to help a person cope with feelings of inferiority. It involves exaggerated beliefs about one’s own achievements or abilities leading to behaviors such as being boastful, vain, or unwilling to listen to others. The term was coined by Alfred Adler as part of his school of individual psychology.” (Wikipedia)

The above definition describes former President Joe Biden to a tee.

In fact, it describes his entire family. It describes his entire circle of pals, that cabal that lied to the American people for four years about his mental status. It perfectly describes almost every member of the mainstream media who excoriated anyone, any guest who dared to suggest he was damaged goods.

Now that Biden is out of office, those same defenders are all rushing to write their books, to tell the truth about how seriously cognitively impaired Biden was.

Maybe Dr. Jill will write a “memoir” about her brave, Edith Wilson heroism; she will claim it was she who was so competently running the country.

Much of the damage the nation has suffered has been decades in the making, but the damage done by the Biden regime has been catastrophic in every way. He planned and executed the invasion of the country, spent so irresponsibly that the national debt is now $37 trillion.

Congress of course is culpable for that as well, both Democrats and Republicans. Spending is what they do best but few seem to have mastered Econ 101.

The list of Biden’s failures is long and excruciating and hardly needs to be repeated here.

Every American is aware, except of course the Democrats who continue to pretend that he was sentient and that Trump is ever

I agree. Look at leaders in the Trump administration: Men like Trump, Vance and Musk. Venture capitalists, successful business owners, serial enterpreneurs - men who are successful and competent and who know how to get things done to make things better. Men who provided the world with goods and services and got rich because the world voluntarily wanted those goods and services and transacted of their own free will for them.

Now compare that with Democratic leaders. Harris. Newsom. Schumer. AOC. Sanders. The contrast is stark: These are people who couldn't change your oil or run a fast food franchise. There is zero evidence of any kind of real-world competency in this crowd. They are grifters who can talk and tell people what they want to hear, and that's about it. And at some level they know that, the entire Democratic party knows that for all the preponderance of queer studies PhDs and liberal arts degrees they have, they don't have remotely the competence of the plumbers and restaurant owners and farmers and factory workers that make up the base of the GOP. And that's very difficult for them to accept.

Everything you say I agree with. And, I might add, their supporters say the same about how the supporters of the left are supposedly brighter and more educated, while the supporters of the right tend to be the ones who actually know how to get things done.

It's not just Harris vs Trump. It's Harris' voters think they're superior to Trump's voters. IMHO, the people I know personal who vote Dim often seem to know that they're really not superior to others -- they're just good at saying very loudly that they are.

A lot of Northern Democrats fought in the Union army. Should they have been expelled in 1865 too?

If they fought in the Northern army they weren’t really Democrats.
I’m from California so I have little historical
hatred for either side, but even today you can see the effects of frustrated ex-slave owners when the slaves don’t obey.
Be they Black, Brown, Yellow, or White slaves.
Democrats are the party of lock step, mind numbed,
slave owners wanna be’s.
All other parties are like herding cats.
As it should be, free will!
