Texas high school football star Austin Metcalf stabbed in the heart, left to die in twin brother’s arms at track meet: dad
A Texas high school star athlete was stabbed in the heart and left to die in his loving twin brother’s arms following a fight over a seat at a track meet, the boy’s heartbroken father said.
Austin Metcalf was attending a track and field championship between other area schools at Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco, Texas when the fatal attack happened on April 2.
Metcalf, a junior at Frisco ISD’s Memorial High School, was in the stands of the stadium when a confrontation broke out between the teen and 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony.
Anthony, a senior at Centennial High School, was allegedly told he was sitting in the wrong seat when he drew a knife and launched his attack, Metcalf’s father Jeff Metcalf told NBC Dallas-Fort Worth.
Anthony, 17, allegedly stabbed Metcalf in the chest as his victim’s brother, Hunter, watched in horror.

the dead student was FAFO, and he was on the wrong end of the FO
I told someone that they were in the wrong seat at a concert a few months back. They double-checked their tickets, said Sorry, and moved over 1 seat.
Was I bullying them?
Well stabbing someone sounds like a perfectly rational response to being told they were in the wrong seat.
No. You don't get to "find out" someone with excessive and irrational violence. This isn't the same thing at all. The person stabbed absolutely did not deserve to be stabbed over a ridiculous dispute about a seat, and the entire fault is on the person who thought stabbing someone was an acceptable idea.
This piece of shit thug doesn't get to make someone "find out" that he is an irrational psychotic piece of shit. That's the only thing that has been "found out."
People want to complain about stereotypes, but this is the exact type of all too common behavior among his specific underclass that makes the stereotypes the safer way to bet.
3% of the population consisting of young black males, cause over 50% of all violent crime in the nation, but everyone is discouraged from pointing out this particular fact for fear of being labeled a "racist."
I'm getting to the point where I simply don't care anymore.
You and I clearly have different ideas about what constitutes aggression. Had the football player walked up hit him with a baseball bat, then stabbing the guy might be the appropriate response.
But telling him he is in the wrong seat? Not even close. You claim Austin Metcalf is the aggressor, but in what way was he aggressive? The article mentions nothing further than him telling the guy he was in the wrong seat. Did they fight? Did he hit him?
In what possible manner can stabbing someone in the heart be matched to an appropriate level of aggression to make stabbing someone in the heart warranted as a response?
They are only 13% of the population, but that number is including the old men, women, babies, etc.
It is only 3% of the population that consists of young black males between the ages of 14 and 40, that commit the vast majority of crimes, and especially violent crimes, in the United States.
It's Texas. I hope they burn that piece of shit quickly. The world will be a better place when the stabber is dead.
I very greatly resent taxpayers being sentenced to life in prison. Certain classes of offenders should just be put out of everyone's misery and their bodies burned up in a furnace.
This guy has a history of agitating, for attention.
Ignore. Don’t feed the trolls.
So, in your value system, a disagreement over a seat justifies getting stabbed to death. Wow.
Your on the wrong website. MOVE.
With you ( as from the first post I ever read of yours) I think there is a village, missing its idiot. Or an HOA missing its Karen.
That’s interestinig they charged him with 1st degree murder. I thought 1st degree means the killer had to plan it in advance for example that Luigi guy who killed the health insurance CEO. Instead this seems to have started over and argument over a seat. It’s not a good idea to over-charge because a jury can acquit the guy by deciding what he did doesn’t meet the criteria of 1st degree.
That’s possible, are the seats reserved like pro-stadiums where you need a ticket or is it sit anywhere like High school stadiums/fields? I don’t know.
EVERY BLACK 17 Y/O GOES TO A TRACK MEET WITH A KNIFE???
Yes, the penalty for telling someone they are in the wrong seat should be death by stabbing. 🙄
Your link says the perp was 6 feet tall and 225 pounds and a noted football player at his school. He would have had allies, so why didn’t he just sock the other guy in the nose?
If Obama had a son...
I've been kindly informed FAFO, is a trigger for some people. Leading them to have wild thoughts in their heads that I supported the stabber.
FAFO in this post means he confronted and unknown person with questionable motives and reasonably did not expect to be killed.
But tragically, he was killed for his efforts to oust a stranger from his schools tent.
FAFO was a trigger for some. Ie: You go to pet a strange dog in your yard wagging his tail and get bit. I'm not suggesting the dog was justified or you deserved it. It's a strange dog,
You try and educate a feral youth on where to sit, expectations are high the youth will just move on, not pull a knife and stab you. It's tragic in both circumstances and in both circumstances the perp should be dealt with in the harshest manner, You still just FAFO.
Is this like being in the wrong seat, so an appropriate response from you would be to stab me in the heart?
“ taxpayers being sentenced to life in prison”
That’s the right way to look at it.
Doing something reasonable people normally do is not what most people would consider to be the ‘FA’ portion of your statements
