As far as leaving my kids anywhere at those ages is insane.


That may say something about your kids. See post 31.

It is possible that something was lined up and fell through, but even if that is not the case it sounds like other than dropping the kids into a nest of Karens, everything went fine.

My youngest two aren’t up to watching a one-year old who isn’t potty trained, and I doubt that my third born was ever up to doing diapers, but watching kids in a play area that has one easily controlled entrance is easier than watching them around home. Provided that the kids aren’t holy terrors, it seems a good enough set up to me in a sane world. Except for the Karens, far superior to putting them on screens.

10 and 6? Nah … too young. My kids are older now but at 10 and 6, its about the public at large rather than my kids behavior in public. My kids were raised to be respectful and have always been ahead of the curve but too many variables and not enough trust in humanity currently I guess for me to think this is alright. In 2025 job interviews can be conducted a variety of ways. And say he gets the job…. Then what? He have a plan for that i wonder?
