He did lose his ranch, iirc. He paid $100,000 in cash for a northern California property in 1969, but a divorce took care of that. He’s an interesting cat. I like some of his music, but politically he’s an idiot.
He used to hang around Dennis Wilson, of the Beach Boys, when Charlie and his girls were part of the retinue. He tried to get Manson signed, and recording sessions were held but of course he was too much of a nutbar even by LA standards. “He was really, really good”.
I’m 74 , I was around for Buffalo Springfield and Crosby Stills and Nash and the rest.
I liked his music early on - I liked it a lot. Bought his/their early albums.
I still listen to- but I wouldn’t spend any money on him now.
