A woman who alleged Elon Musk fathered her baby has claimed she has been forced to sell her Tesla because he reduced child support payments.
Ashley St. Clair, 26, was photographed forfeiting the vehicle, manufactured by Mr Musk’s company, to an online seller in Manhattan.
She claimed she was selling the car because the world’s richest man slashed the amount he was sending her in order to care for their alleged son.
“I need to make up for the 60 per cent cut that Elon made to our son’s child support,” she told MailOnline.
Asked why she thought Mr Musk had cut the payments, the conservative influencer responded. “That’s a great question”.
Mr Musk has never confirmed that he fathered a child with Ms St. Clair.
Responding to the claim, Mr Musk said on Monday: “I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out. No court order is needed.
“Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5m and am sending her $500k/year.”

Starved for attention is the problem. She’s the one all over the internet and is an “influencer.” She’s the one who threw a hissy fit wanting the world to know and is the “media” she’s complaining about. Whaa, whaa, look at MEEEEE! Selling the car is nothing but a publicity stunt. There is at least two cameras that were called for the event.
Especially when they’re forced to live in a Manhattan apartment?
The mother is trying to get sole custody. Musk has a weird personal lifestyle, but at least it seems like he still wants to be involved in the child’s life and does provide child support, which is more than a lot of men do.
I can't see much sympathy from the public after this, especially during the hated tax season.
The "deal" should have come with an iron clad NDA.

Just because she claimed to be a conservative doesn’t mean she isn’t a whore...
His reproductive habits are rather unconventional, but at least these kids are well provided for and he is active in at least some of their lives. He has also expressed concern over population collapse, so I suppose he is just trying to do his part.

I just saw an article on FR yesterday where Musk claimed he gave her $2.5 million and said he was open to a paternity test.
