Perhaps a stupid observation that the author does not make:

The purpose of the photograph sent to the CIA is to say, “I am in position and have all my hardware and support.”

I suppose Oswald would expect further orders or a supplied route and timing for Kennedy.

The agency wouldn’t tell him about Ruby, or if there was any backup on-scene.

Ya… the CIA used a very secret method to get the route information to Oswald. It was called The Dallas Morning News. Yep… back then they publicized that kind of information. It was a political trip and Kennedy wanted as many people as possible to see him (and Jackie).

The photo of Oswald with his weapons and commie newspapers was sent to the CIA? Never heard that. I thought it was given to the FBI by Oswald's wife after Oswald was dead.

But you're convinced the CIA had Kennedy killed by Oswald. Others think that Castro had Kennedy killed by Oswald because Kennedy tried to kill him. Still others think it was the Mafia (Chicago or New Orleans or Tampa) because Kennedy's brother dissed them.

Me, I think Oswald did it all by himself because he was a wacko commie.
