The descriptions of Jesus (or Isa bin Maryam) in Islamic writings are highly contradictory. On the one hand, the terms “Messiah” and “a spirit from Allah” are employed, but on the other hand the Sonship is explicitly denied as is the Crucifixion as well as death and resurrection.

And their own Korean says “Allah has no son”

I have heard that this verse is written on the Dome of the Rock

I think 🤔 maybe on the outside?

Surah 17:111 (Al-Isra):
“And say: ‘Praise be to Allah, who begets no son, and has no partner in (His) dominion: Nor (needs) He any to protect Him from humiliation: yea, magnify Him for His greatness and glory!’”

Surah 23:91 (Al-Mu’min):
“No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him!”

Surah 4:171 (An-Nisa):
“People of the Book! Do not exceed the limits in your religion, and attribute to Allah nothing except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was only a Messenger of Allah, and His command that He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from Him (which led to Mary’s conception).”

Surah Al-An’am (6:101): “How could He have a son when He has no consort, and He (Himself) created everything, and He is the Knower of all things.”
