Sir Keir Starmer and US President Donald Trump have agreed on the need to “keep up the collective pressure on Putin” during a phone call, Downing Street said.
The Sunday night call came after Mr Trump said he was “angry, pissed off” with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin for questioning the credibility of Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelensky.
-snip-
The US president openly aired grievances toward Russian President Vladimir Putin in the interview.
"I was very angry – pissed off – when Putin started getting into Zelenskyy's credibility, because that's not going in the right location, you understand?" Trump told Welker, referring to the Russian leader's comments last week suggesting Ukraine be put under a "temporary administration" while the two nations work toward a deal.
He continued, "But new leadership means you're not gonna have a deal for a long time, right? … But I was pissed off about it. But if a deal isn't made, and if I think it was Russia's fault, I'm going to put secondary sanctions on Russia."

I realize that Stamer, like just about all European leaders could care less how much his people suffer, but I really doubt that Trump will consider Ukraine so damn important as to have to impose PAIN on his own voters.
Putin needs to get with the program and agree to President Trump’s Easter ceasefire.
“Putin needs to get with the program and agree to President Trump’s Easter ceasefire.”
Or what? He’ll get cancer for the 58th time? Or his economy will implode for the 39th time?
Meanwhile, on the UK....

British households should prepare themselves for Terrible Tuesday (April 1st — but it’s no April Fool) when energy, water, council tax, broadband and BBC licence fee will all become more expensive.
Then business will be clobbered on April 6 with the £24bn rise in employer national insurance — which will quickly translate into higher prices, lower wage growth and fewer jobs.

Western Europe doesn’t think Ukraine is that important.
Not one country in Western Europe is willing to institute conscription.
Not one.
Note to Europe: Your blood and treasure first.
President Trump is done with Putin’s nonsense.
“President Trump is done with Putin’s nonsense.”
When do the nukes fly?
Oddly, of that Starmer-created "coalition of the willing:
"The latest EU emergency meeting in Paris broke up again with little decided, significant backtracking on earlier commitments to sending peacekeepers to Ukraine and Europe's increasing irrelevance to Ukraine's fate in its conflict with Russia. The Standard UK has melded "news" into "news" but left out "Europe's increasing irrelevance." There's a good reason that part doesn't appear in the Standard UK "news." Which is MSNBC news, warmed over."Some 30 countries, the so-called coalition of the willing, attended the meeting in Paris called by French President Emmanuel Macron on March 27. The EU is scrambling to meet the challenge of the US withdrawal of support and US President Donald Trump's soft stance to negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but are being routinely ignored by the White House and sidelined from the talks being held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
"Participants of the Paris summit did not reach a unanimous agreement on deploying military forces to Ukraine as part of a so-called peacekeeping mission, and the format of such a mission remains undecided, said Macron." more....

Tasty stuff! Bangers and mash.....
More with a picture at the link, including Mark Rutte and Ursula von der Leyen. Zelensky is in the front row between "front and center" Starmer and Donald Tusk. A jolly part of the report....
"Macron downgraded the commitment switching from calling them 'peacekeepers' to 'dissuasion forces'.”
The British, like the French and the Germans are broke, but then they are kidding themselves into getting into a war with Russia, who will crush them with no US support for these stupid European war mongers.
For sure - maybe he'll ask President Zel-Man to send Miss Ukraine & "The Ghost of Kiev" to terminate Putin, once and for all!
Europe is getting more irrelevant every years, even as they make loud empty threats not backed by strong economic power.
But.... But.... Strongly worded letters and summits with nice buffets and photo ops. There are some things in which the current crop of enlightened EC / EU types excel. Like banning candidates from running in elections to save democracy. And other stuff....
President von der Leyen washing her hands to fight against #COVID19 European Commission, "We are shaping the future of the EU."
Globalist warpigs desperately trying to prevent peace.
(like zeepers here)
“Putin needs to get with the program and agree to President Trump’s Easter ceasefire.”
Or what?
Or our President will have failed on obtaining peace in Europe. Whose side are we on? Putin or Trump? United States of America or Russia?
BobL is correct. What's Trump going to do?
Putting America First requires a more modest foreign policy. One that doesn't try to dominate the world, but rather has a more "hands off" policy in foreign affairs.
“Or our President will have failed on obtaining peace in Europe. Whose side are we on? Putin or Trump? United States of America or Russia?”
I’m on the side of a PERMANENT solution to the Ukraine War. I think Trump wants that too...and that will get done.
