Same here, I’m easily set for over a year, including things like coffee and books, extra reading glasses, a full indoor winter clothing comfort wardrobe for lounging around the house comfortably without heat, and can keep my canned food and water pipes (and toilet) from freezing, reasonably ready for the worst of summer heat for cooling myself in an emergency and for sleeping on hot nights, I’m guaranteed adequate lighting and radio for years.
Knowing you have the luxury of being able to have a few weeks to think about things without worry and to allow emergency events to unfold and heal themselves while you watch mostly detached from it all, is worth the fairly minor effort of adopting some of the prepping hobby.
