Good. I’ve been to baseball games where I’ve gone home, taken a nap, did the laundry, then returned to the stadium. The game is still going on, and the score hasn’t changed.
I know purists won’t like it. I respect that. But as for me, the more excitement the better.

They got NINE home runs, only ONE SHORT OF THE ALL TIME RECORD today.
So the article got it wrong.
I watched the game, so know, first hand. It was a BLOWOUT, a wonderful game! And Judge got three.

Bat is shaped like a Bowling Pin............I wonder how the bulge's curve effects the off the bat trajectory.

It would take a different direction than normal. The batter might not be able to place the ball where he wants it to go..................

Nope! Superstar slugger Dave Winfield (my fave as a little kid) used to swing these ridiculously small bats (As a scrawny 13-yr-old, I used his model bat). 32 ounces. Rod Carew and Ozzie Smith swung even lighter bats, 29 ounces.
Babe Ruth used a 54-ounce bat.

I watched the game, and I am pretty sure it was NINE home runs today. Fun to see.

Oh, okay; sorry I missed seeing the time stamp.

More scoring means longer games. You're arguing against yourself.

Apparently the author was writing this during the game.............

Yes, they eventually got NINE home runs; one short of the mind blowing 10, that it is THE most ever on record.
To: Red Badger
Well, it probably helped that they hit the first four home runs in the first inning off a former teammate from last year, Nestor Torres. Clearly they knew how he signals his pictures.

I don’t have any problem with that, at all. I enjoy a day at the park. What I find dull is inning after inning with nothing much happening.
Some folks will disagree. They enjoy pitcher duels. As the old saying goes, to each his own.

Nestor relies on his curveball—while it works great in warm summer months it tends to straighten out in cold spring or fall weather.
