I caught a @jacksonhewitt employee coaching illegals on how they could get up to $14,000 in tax refunds whether they’re “working or not” [earned income credit]

Boy I hope I still have lead on my pencil when I am in my 100s.

This sort of criminality is enabled by the ridiculous tax code. If it were eliminated and replaced with an NRST a tariff then this couldn’t happen.

Fixed it.

The average amount of Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) received nationwide in tax year 2022 was about $2,541. The EITC helps low- to moderate-income workers and families get a tax break.

Well, not in his case. $10,000 in two years.

Yeah, something is badly amiss with his returns.

Not sure what it could be but he should not be getting that kind of money.

See if he would be willing to have someone look over his filings. Better to straighten it out now before it becomes a crippling amount of debt in the future.

Surely, you jest. It is free money from us serfs. Like so many others. Reparations.

Sadly I do not. But I guess he will have to learn that lesson for himself.

Sometimes you had better look that gift horse in the mouth.

Don’t think that I am happy for him. I told him that he is stealing from his fellow comrades. He didn’t earn that.

Didn't think that you were happy about it. No parent enjoys watching their kid learn something the hard way.

And sure, it may be fine. But that is not the way I would place my bet.

The government must pass a law allowing execution of individuals who do this. Everyone involved.

I am only 87 & living on S.S. How do I go about filing for a $14000 refund without paying any taxes? Apparently there’s a way.

What does jacksonhewtt get from signing up illegals?

Is someone paying them for each illegal or are they getting kickbacks?
