Russia can slant the news too, but I don't think your link is an example of Russian propaganda. A month ago, the Ukrainians were offering financial incentives because they were 'short handed' and I posted several painful gifs of TCC recruiters driving up and grabbing men, despite their age/infirmity, off the street to force them to fight on the Russian front.

Zelensky did say over a year ago that 'All should be prepared to fight' and then floated the idea of women in battle, only to retract it briskly. Women have fled many bombed out regions to seek a better life for themselves, so putting women in battle would be unpopular with the public.
Snippets of a music video were falsely portrayed by Ukraine as women dying heroically on the front lines. Note the desire to glamorize 'fallen heroic women.'
I have seen footage of two women in trenches loading and firing what looked like mortars rounds. The latter footage showed these women had been killed.The translation at the OP link dropped the ball a little, but I think I see where the prisoner was going with her comments:
