(Detectives on Tuesday were trying to solve a mystery after two bodies were found in the back of an abandoned pickup truck)

Norteno and Suareno gang turf front lines. It won’t be “white supremacy” but it may be some “white hispanics” who committed this.
A friend checked himself out in that area in the ‘70s.
Cyanide from the lab. Violent way to go and no one knew why.
So I listened to the news video and here are a few observations...
- “...found in back of pickup truck...” When I first heard that, I was wondering if it meant the bed but the video looked like the bed was full of dirt bikes (?) but it also showed that it was a pickup truck with a back seat. Therefore I concluded that ‘back of the pickup truck’ likely meant the back seat.
- The deaths were called ‘suspicious’... I suppose a bullet in the head could be termed ‘suspicious’ but I don’t think that is the word that would typically get used.
- I think it was said that the truck was parked in a ‘remote’ area...
- It was stated by the former police officer being interviewed that ‘the investigation would be complicated’.
Years ago, some kids in my school were out drinking beer and parked at the side of the road.... there was four in the car and they were all found dead the next afternoon. Turns out the car was left idling as it wintertime and enough carbon monoxide got in that it killed them all. The piece didn’t say anything about the sex of the individuals but perhaps it was a couple looking for privacy in a back seat. Or perhaps it was to individuals who took some very bad drugs.....

I used to climb at Castle Rock (Goat Rock, waterfall). Fun place.
