A beloved Arizona yoga teacher who vanished after he set out for a would-be romantic meetup with a blind date last month has been found dead.
The body of Marcus Freiberger, 45, was discovered at a rock quarry in Phoenix, about 6 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, on March 19 — nearly one month after the scheduled date, AZ Family reported, citing the Phoenix Police Department.
His sister, Tina Hall, broke the news of her brother’s death on Tuesday in a heart-wrenching Facebook post.
“It is with a heavy heart that I share the tragic news that Marcus is no longer with us,” Hall wrote. “We thank all of you for the love and support you have given Marcus and our family.”

Tranny did it.
I remember going on some pretty horrible blind dates when I was young, but nothing that bad.
Generally, those who are “beloved” are not seeking blind dates.
Was he on a “blind” date or not really beloved?
Beloved means “likes” on face book......................
I hate blind dates, you can’t see a thing!
Had a friend who used to date off the internet- NOPE! NOT for me! It’s like buying a product off the internet from a wonkyfly by nite Chinese site- ya just never know what your gonna get. My friend did eventually marry a local girl however. His experience with internet meetups wasn’t too great I guess.
Obviously the suspect will have a white cane and a seeing eye dog. Oh, and a rolled up exercise mat.
Play stupid games - win stupid prizes.
I would bet drug deal going by his past.
Or a gay killing thing.
More likely “he”.
Dude did male naked yoga.
Well, you presumably didn’t go on gay dating websites.
Blind date with a woman, or hook-up with a man?
He should have gotten a Black Belt in Karate instead of Yoga.
First word I look for in these stories is “Tinder”.
DRUGS DRUGS DRUGS === OVER & OVER AGAIN
That he was gay was my immediate suspicion. I hope they catch the murderer(s).
My thought as well.
Do you really? You see pictures and have words but do you really know if any of it is true?
My oldest daughter met her husband on a “somewhat” blind date, in that they had never physically met before. He is a decent enough sort its just i never would have gone to meet someone that way.
I could say on an online dating site that I look like Tom Cruise but that would just be setting my would-be date up for a big disappointment! So why lie? I'd rather tell the truth and say I look like Tom Hanks.
