Crockett is terrible, but she’s in a very secure seat. There wasn’t even a GOP candidate in the last election.
This guy may be a very good person, but we’ve seen this grift before.
He is going to get a lot of donations, show up on right-leaning news stations and raise his national profile significantly... and then lose by 40 points.
There aren’t any GOP voters in the district and he did nothing to win any of the local voters over because he was collecting checks and showing up on national media for a year.
He’ll then take his campaign donations and run for a more winnable office, try to worm his way into the conservative speakers circuit, and/or get a show on OANN.
If he’s prepared - maybe run for something not confined/defined by that district.
Says more about the self-defeating voters than him.
