If is probably a very big IF.

Latest I've heard is Mike Waltz asked a staffer to add someone to the group chat. The staffer supposedly looked up the person's number on his or her cell phone contacts and entered into the group chat list. Magically the contact number had one wrong digit which just happen to be the journalist exact number.

I find that story about as believable as Alejandro Nicolas Mayorkas secured the southern border.

Now we will be bombarded with media stories on the Republican internal strife that is risking national security. The truth is Mike Waltz was probably blindsided by a very suspicious staffer with the goal of having Waltz terminated.

Yes. That is exactly what they want. Fortunately, Trump was severely burned by his inexperience in his first administration, and he prematurely buckled to the media pressure.

He made the absolutely critical, but understandable mistake of thinking in 2017 that we are all “on the same team” with respect to the FBI and DOJ. He found out by hard experience that is not the case.

He now knows that buckling like that to the pressure of the Media is simply throwing bloody chum into shark infested waters, so he won’t do it prematurely.

The more I look at this, the more I find this whole thing looking more like a redux of General Flynn.
