Greetings Conservative Dude!

Can you provide an answer to Gerald Posner’s thesis?
I would also very much appreciate it if anyone could comment on the thesis of Vincent Bugliosi’s book, “Reclaiming History”.

As the original article suggests, one must understand and effectively deal with the opponents’ actual arguments. Your statement, “None of the facts...” is puzzling to me and after approximately 46 years of interest and study of this subject I would love to know your thinking. Thanks!

Sure—Posner has the same problem as the Warren Commission.

Their entire analysis is demolished by one simple fact.

The Warren Commission’s credibility has been destroyed.

Therefore we cannot take seriously even one word in their report on any subject.

So, what do we “know”?

We know these things for certain (many of them we suspected, but now we KNOW):

Oswald was, ahem, closely watched by the CIA since 1959;
In particular, he was “closely watched” by James Angleton;
Oswald’s file (180 pages) was on Angleton’s desk when Kennedy went to Dallas;
Angleton’s behavior and monitoring was consistent with both treating Oswald EITHER as an enemy to be watched OR an asset in development;
Angleton was not incompetent, which logically eliminates “Oswald as an enemy” leaving “Oswald was an asset”;

We KNOW now, beyond a shadow of a doubt that the CIA withheld info from the Warren Commission (Angleton was the liaision, and of course Alan Dulles controlled that);

We KNOW Angleton lied to Congress repeatedly during the Church Committee about Oswald and many other things.

Oswald was in deep with the CIA. That’s now a fact. It is POSSIBLE that he was sort of being used without his total cooperation....it’s possible...it’s also possible that he knew he was working with them...but it doesn’t matter. Either way, whether Oswald was a tool, or an accomplice - the reality is that he did not work alone. He was used by the CIA.

We also know from the released files that Gary Chamberlein immediately spoke out to insiders that a group within the CIA offed Kennedy, and that six months later he spectacularly “committed suicide” lol.

We also know (not so much from the recent document dump), but we know that Jack Ruby was the Chicago mob’s main guy in Dallas....he wasn’t a mere “night club owner” he was a major organized crime figure. We also know that the Chicago mafia stole the election for Kennedy, and that they thought they would be rewarded with unparalelled access to the White House but RFK stopped that....and we know that a mob hit is what happens when you tick off the mob and “renegotiate” the deal with them.

We also know that the goons/muscle of the CIA and the mob were basically the same cast of characters....and this goes back to our use of Sicilian mafia to help the Allied invasion of Italy.

We also know (and I think some of this was confirmed in the released files) that Clif Carter confessed on audio tape that LBJ killed Kennedy (and many others). We know that Mac Wallace’s palm print are in the TBSD.

We know with near certainty that Angleton worked against stated US foreign policy of Kennedy to help Israel develop their nukes. We know that he had no regard for US foreign policy as set by the President....only for what he wanted done.

We know that J Edgar Hoover denied the existence of the mob forever...even while he got rich betting on horses in rigged races. He was in the palm of the mob....and we know that Ford was his point man in the Warren Commission and he announced that it was Oswald alone like a week after Nov 22.

The only people that “believe” that Oswald was alone nut are the Warren Commission...and of course they didn’t believe it either. They just announced it.

(Just ask Hale Boggs...oh, wait, we can’t because he “died in a plane crash”).

We also know that MK Ultra was a real thing and the CIA lied about it for years...before saying they shut it down. We know that the lone nut archetype was basically created by them (as well as the term conspiracy theorist) and perpetuated by the use of “lone nuts” to try and kill Wallace and Reagan. (Bremer’s and Hinckley’s treatment by dubious psychiatrists is documented....oh, and then there’s Hinckley’s connections with the CIA through a missions organization his dad funded, and of course their long relationship with Bush).

So....just a few things to ponder.

I’d say the thing that is demonstrated by the data dump is that the CIA (or compartments within) is a very bad actor. And they are all over everywhere when it comes to all things JFK assassination. It’s now documented and public. Posner, like the Warren Commission, simply wanted to announced case closed without a real investigation.
