Sad that he died. That’s a fast moving sport, one depending on huge, heavy animals.

Is a Harness Driver the same as a Jockey?
Is that the new name for it?

Harnass racing, not Thoroughbred racing.

Driver of Standardbred (trotting horses). The sulky is a very light 2 wheel buggy and they are in scary close quarters.

27 is same age as my kids. Prayers for the family.

Condolences to Hunter Myers’ family and friends. A long time ago I took care of harness horses at DRC, Hazel Park and Windsor Raceway. It was a fun job. Beautiful animals. My uncle Al was a driver and owned horses. My aunt and cousin also worked at the tracks. Great memories. They all have passed. RIP.
