At the turn of the Century, Columbia pictures put out an animated version called
Rough necks :The Starship Troopers Chronicles". It followed the book more closely than the movie had done, including having the troopers jumping from orbiting spaceships in powered armor suits, rather than running down ramps in police uniforms from
RoboCop.
