We have a winner. The energy policy of the Left has always been no energy for the unwashed masses. It would make no difference what energy source science developed, if it worked the Left would hate it and try to get it stopped. If this was all about CO2, we would be building modern nuclear plants as fast as we could get the thorium out of the ground.

Always has been (in the US) and always will be. What was INGENIOUS of them was couching it in terms of IMPROVING civilization. That’s why we should never consider them to be dumb people - they are not.
