The Supremes better yank this dipstick.
Oral orders from a judge are not appealable. Written orders are. This judge knew his oral order wasn't legal, and therefore didn't put it in writing. Now he wants to say "you didn't do what I said. Screw my written order." Bad judges do illegal things and then frustrate appellate review. That's what this judge did. He should be smacked down with a writ of prohibition and ordered to pay the costs. I doubt CJ Roberts will do that.

“Why was this proclamation signed in the dark on Friday, early Saturday morning, and then these people rushed onto the planes?” Boasberg asked Justice Department attorneys. “To me, the only reason to do that is if you know the problem, and you want to get them out of the country before a suit is filed.”
So this judge can only think of one reason why the government acted quickly. And is assuming the government knew it was acting illegally.
I’m seeing more and more statements by the Obama/ Biden judges that are straight out political rhetotic, with no legal reasoning.

Well, they are buddies in the same club.

thank you for giving us the legal status of this “ oral” order. It actually is plain old common sense, but I was just not sure myself.
