Russian and North Korean state-run media say Russia's Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu arrived in Pyongyang on Friday.

Russia's Tass news agency says Shoigu, a former defense minister, is due to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

The two countries have been deepening their military cooperation as Russia continues its invasion of Ukraine.

During Shoigu's visit, the two sides are expected to discuss Pyongyang's provision of troops and artillery to Russia, and Moscow's offering military technical support in return.

The two countries are also believed to be coordinating the timing of a summit between Kim and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

This is as surprising as an American official arriving in Brussels to discuss NATO. Read the Russian/NORK military alliance document. Pay particular attention to Art. 4. Art. 4 is the mirror image of NATO’s Art. 5. The only difference is Russia’s ability to put 500,000 highly trained, well armed NORK troops on the Uke battlefield within a month IF Korean troops were ever deployed. NONE have been to date. Oh yeah, that massive military presence would arrive and be supplied over a totally secure rail line.

If the Euroweenies ever decide to sacrifice their troops in Ukraine, Putin, if needed, could call on Little Rocket Man for support per the treaty. Your dementia patient leader would have gotten us to that point in order to keep the grift flowing. Trump will sign deals with the Putin and LRM. The grift that you’re so concerned about will end and Z’s gang will have to manage on the billions they’ve already stolen from us.
