During WW II, Duke University, in connection with our government ( I'm not exactly sure just how it was all connected, just that it was ), ran tests using married couples, who were separated by many, many miles, to test mental telepathy, by send/receiving messages and keeping records of same.

Some people have this and some don't. It isn't some kind of weird/magical/whatever thing...it's akin to some people having more sensitive taste buds than others,or on the down side, being color blind.
