The Houthis are Muslim fundamentalists who believe they have the right and religious obligation to convert, kill and/or enslave everyone in the world who is not Muslim.
Western technology rid us of this scourge with the First World War and the end of the Ottoman Empire.
Why would anyone want to bring it back? If you allow these people to attack and survive, you will get greatly magnified attacks, which is exactly what we see.
