Why the Egg Industry Is Pushing for a Bird Flu Vaccine
Discern Report ^ | 03/17/2025 | Austin Alonzo

(The Epoch Times)—With highly pathogenic avian influenza driving up egg prices in the United States to unprecedented heights, government officials are beginning to consider the use of vaccines to combat the illness.

The decision is complex because vaccination would instantly cut off more than half of the United States’ poultry exports due to trade provisions that forbid vaccination.

Hmmm.

I have a huge problem with the way we handle this situation by killing egg laying flocks because one chicken sneezed. [That's a joke, parsers.] Yet meat flocks seem not to be affected, judging by store prices?

I guess I am simply confused.

Get away from the factory farms and the jabs. May at times needs new stock from overseas that haven’t been jabbed into new vulnerabilities.

Stop killing whole flocks and perhaps rebuild from the survivors.

So, if this happens: “...if the United States started vaccinating today, as much as $3 billion worth of the country’s $5.8 billion poultry export market could be instantly closed off...” with a result of many egg farmers shutting down, wouldn’t the resulting price of eggs go up?

I am told they use the same inaccurate PCR testing for Avian Flu that they used for COVID.

That explains a lot.

Perhaps some in Big Ag are into it, thinking they might get a pass from culling entire flocks, but I seriously doubt many are playing along.

You’ve got it; another plandemic designed as a vehicle to infest us with MRNA.

AFAIK the people are getting ahead of this and localizing production.

Indeed.

Permit me to add to the confusion:

RFK Jr has failed to address the policies to-date.

At all, despite POTUS proclamations to lower inflation & cost of eggs.

Bupkis.

Why?

...vaccination would instantly cut off more than half of the United States’ poultry exports

Not to mention, half the U.S. sales. I wouldn't go near an egg from a vaccinated chicken.

Yet the rest of the world vaccinates their chickens for bird flu and salmonella. And the vaccine they use is made in the USA.

Meat chickens, typically fryers are raised in as little as 6 to 7 weeks. Roasting birds a few weeks longer. Laying hens are usually at least 21-23 weeks old. So it takes an average three times as long to raise laying hens. There is a big egg farm about three miles from me, the company produces about 9 million eggs a day. Given the amount of electricity, feed, labor, structure in an operation like that, eggs are cheap. You have to produce a LOT of eggs to make a decent profit. Losing millions of chickens to disease is a big hit. They claim to have 11 million laying hens at a given time. Giving that many chickens a vaccination is also a big unplanned expense.

WHEN THE CHICKENS WERE REMOVED FROM “CAGES” ANS ALLOWED TO “ROAM FREE”-—WILD BIRDS WERE ALLOWED TO CONTAMINATE THE FLOCKS.

IT IS JUST THAT SIMPLE.

So meat flocks are not exposed to the virus like laying birds are? Because laying birds are around longer?

I know I do not want mrna anything. I just won’t have it.

I’m sure the meat chickens are exposed as well, and i’m not sure if they consider vaccinating them or not. Their turnover is much quicker, and they have less invested in them, but I’m not sure. The place close to me is an egg farm only, and doesn’t raise meat chickens.

You destroy the sick chickens, and the ones who live through the breakout are IMMUNE... Like Herd IMMUNITY.... They just want to get mRNA into humans so we die quicker. People are nuts, I won’t get a vaccine, not for flu, not for shingles, measles or anything else. I will die naturally, not from a vaxx.
