Does that woman not have an elastic to tie her hair back with? Does she not know how to braid it? She looks like Medusa. You know, I bought my condo from two Indian sisters, both with long, thick black hair. I was pulling their hair out of drains for months and it would also clog up the vacuum cleaner. Can you imagine how loose strands of her hair is probably floating around in that capsule, draping across someone's eyes or caught in their mouth? Ick.

I know they're both probably ready to kill each other at this point, although I read that they weren't the astronauts left longest in space... some guy went 340 days. But they're getting close.

There is elaborate filtration to minimize that. That’s why short hair styles aren’t required. When short hair is chosen by a female crew member (like the new commander), it is presumably because it considerably reduces the time required to “dry shampoo” and generally care for the hair with very little water available (i.e. none) for the task.
