I wouldn’t say that necessarily. I have a conservative/Christian friend who has a very jaundiced view of Jews, & is always complaining about Zionists & their influence in our gov’t. I won’t go into why I think she’s that way, but there it is.

There is a persistent complaint against banking One variant is to complain about Jews in banking. I think both are based on misunderstandings. Jewish “control” of banking is one rationale for antisemitism.
Banks are not evil. Nor is interest, nor money creation. People should learn some proper economics.
In Europe the prestige thing was to become a landowner. Jews were discouraged. They were allowed to be money changers, which was held in very low esteem. In both cases, enforcement was by government. Government has a knack for backward-looking policies. Take windmills (please).
Agriculture was an industry in decline, so being kept out of land ownership may have been an unintended favor. Money-changing evolved into banking an ascendent industry. Forced into money-changing / banking was an unintended favor also. Governments, trying to stick it to the Jews, made Jewish fortunes.
