Progressive America on display. You don’t own your home. Its a partnership with bloated and corrupt government.
Been saying this for many years. You have no property rights and you own nothing. You are merely a caretaker for the state. For this privilege, you pay a monthly fee for a period of up to 30 years. Once this is paid, you still have an annual fee to keep in good standing as a caretaker for the state, in addition to fees and other taxes that may result if you choose to improve the state's property.
At any point during or after that 30 years, you can sell off your privilege of being a caretaker for the state and, hopefully, make a small profit for your troubles over the years. Should you pass away while in active caretaker status, your children have the right to either continue or discontinue as caretakers, however, if they choose to continue, they will be subject to membership fees in the amount of half of the value of the state's property, at minimum. This fee, however, is often higher.
Being a caretaker for the state is not for the feint of heart, however many folks see this form of peaceful slavery as preferential to the thrills & risks inherent with the animated contest of true freedom.
