(Back to the Art Bell show from the (Kingdom of Nye)
AUSTIN, Texas — The documentary The Age of Disclosure sets out to do what countless films have done before: present proof that humans on Earth are not alone in the universe. What’s different this time is that 34 senior members of the government, military and intelligence community went on camera to talk about it.

Yes it is. I bookmarked that one. It can come in handy around here. But I realized you, myself, and a few others operate like that as a norm. The only part I have trouble with is the suggestion to just laugh off knuckleheads. I do try but I really hate sadism so it is hard. I’m still trying to figure out that site. So far it actually looks neutral with equal quantities of bot blue and red ideology. But I am surprised there are red pill articles at all.
When someone says, “I am interested in actual science,” they are often equating “actual science” exclusively with established science, treating it as a fixed body of knowledge rather than an ongoing process of discovery (a process that, as you note, begins with the development of hypotheses).
This is a logical fallacy—an appeal to authority—rather than true engagement with evidence. It assumes that anything outside the scientific consensus must be wrong simply because it has not yet been fully accepted.
But science is not absolute truth—it is a constantly evolving process that refines, and sometimes overturns, past understandings. Blindly deferring to authority while ignoring this dynamic nature is not scientific thinking—it’s dogmatism.
Very well stated. I’m trying to figure out the psychology behind this undying relentless effort to destroy discussion about this particular topic. What does it hurt to contemplate possibilities? Contemplating possibilities does not make them true, it is just simply speculation.
No one is forcing anyone to come read these threads. If one doesn’t agree with the concept the personal option to opt out is always there. Just don’t click on it.
But what drives this? Because she is not alone with these actions. Authoritarian traits like the fourth grade lunch lady? “Stand in line and no talking?” A want to have conflict because it satisfies sadistic tendencies? Simply out of boredom? Is it born of faith and the idea that discussing certain topics is evil because it might manifest evil? Driven by the fear of the possibility they might actually exist?
I don’t know... But it is pretty extreme and irrational to put so much passion and effort into squashing all efforts to even just speculate certain topics like this. Why is there so much effort put into trying to make sure no one else believes in them either? Or even discusses them? We are not going out of our way to shove the ideology down their throats. They can drive by...
If you don’t like baseball then don’t watch it, it is that simple. Why insist no one else likes or watches baseball either? It is illogical, selfish, and irrational.
Who is making money off these hoaxes and theories? Ever see a crystal clear picture of a UFO? No, they are always blurry for a reason.
People en mass began reporting UFO after WWII. What major discovery changed everything 1945-1950 and make up the base of most reports? The jet engine. Before 1945 how many UFOs were reported?
Hindreds. You’re just not familiar with the history. I would suggest you look into Jacques Vallee or Richard Dolan on the subject’s history.
I think it’s fear. If this stuff—whatever it is—turns out to be real, it will change everything, even the way we perceive consciousness itself. Conventional people, who don’t even like mundane change, are immensely threatened by this—and rightly so. That’s why they are drawn to these threads like moths to a flame, reacting irrationally and illogically in their comments.
But it’s not just fear; it’s also a deep need for control. Many people build their identity and sense of security around a stable, predictable worldview. UFOs challenge that stability, not just in terms of science and government secrecy, but also in their implications for consciousness, spirituality, and human history.
The stronger their attachment to a fixed worldview—including established science—the more hostile their reaction to anything that threatens it.
If this were a hoax, the number of people involved would be staggering—Navy admirals, high-ranking officers, retired military pilots, seamen, naval officers, nuclear physicists, research biologists, oceanographers—even Secretary of State Marco Rubio and CIA Director John Ratcliffe. Yet these are the very people stating, unequivocally, that the U.S. government has not only investigated UFOs (or more precisely, unidentified anomalous phenomena, UAP) but has also recovered materials and bodies from crash sites.
More concerning, the frequency of UAP detections, sightings, and thermal imaging captures is increasing dramatically.
I’m not drawing conclusions about what we’re dealing with, but we are definitely dealing with something—and it’s not a hoax.
Let me first say you are discussing this with the wrong person. I happen to be a personal three time eye witness. And no they were not man made craft nor were they mistaken identity. I am absolutely well versed on aircraft and flight characteristics. I grew up in a very remote place and aircraft training grounds. I grew up with fighter jets buzzing us night and day. I grew up with them hitting us with sonic booms night and day. I have studied fluid dynamics and aeronautic principles in depth and understand flight very well. I am fully up on what our craft are capable of or not. Now let me explain the fallacy with your theory...
“People en mass began reporting UFO after WWII. What major discovery changed everything 1945-1950 and make up the base of most reports? The jet engine. Before 1945 how many UFOs were reported?”
This is just not true. History before manned flight is choked full of UFO accounts. The Bible is chocked full of metaphoric accounts. Ancient Egypt had accounts. Christian painters were depicting UFOs from back in the 1300s all the way up through the renaissance. This is absolutely nothing new. They have been around forever.

Well stated again. And I agree it makes sense. But to this as one of the most important factors...
“even the way we perceive consciousness itself.”
And that is a fact. My experiences have changed my own perception for sure. My first locked me into a quest for more I can never shake off. Once you absolutely know for a fact you can never return to the traditional box and perspective. It is absolutely a higher level of consciousness and reality.
I recently watched a podcast interview with Diana Pasulka (possibly on Shawn Ryan’s show) where she discussed abductions and other contact experiences. She referenced Dr. Garry Nolan’s subtle mentions of his own childhood encounters—seeing little gray men in his bedroom and peering through his windows.
Pasulka noted that the abduction phenomenon has largely been downplayed in favor of focusing on the more “nuts and bolts” aspects of the UFO topic. However, she emphasized that, despite this minimization, she believes the abduction aspect plays a much larger role than most admit. She also mentioned that Garry Nolan and others have suggested it’s quite possible that a significant percentage of humans have been abducted or had contact experiences but have repressed the memories.
I’ve had vivid dreams about such things and have sometimes wondered if they might be the result of repressed memories.
Now that you brought that up... I have similar and faint subconscious hints that this may have happened to me when I was a young child. I have faint memories of dreams I had when I was five that now might actually fit that possibility. Dreams of being taken “somewhere else” in my sleep. Of course they could not be explained at the time, just strange dreams because I had no conscious understanding or knowledge of the UFO phenomenon.
But because of my memory curse these come back to me once in awhile but are fuzzy with detail. But when they do it is kind of like extrasensory perception and a “gut feeling” of possible truth that this may have been the case. It just has a ring of possibility concerning these dreams. But it could just be coincidence because we are always “taken somewhere else” in our dreams. But like you, I often wonder...
When you were young you had a dream. As an adult you associate the dream with physically 'taken somewhere else'.
As I said, pet theories constructed in your own mind.
People who write books about UFOs. Youtubers who make money on their monetized videos.
And then there are the people who make fake videos and photos so they can laugh their asses off when the true believers and gullible people spread their hoaxes like wildfire.
“As an adult you associate the dream with physically ‘taken somewhere else’.
As I said, pet theories constructed in your own mind. “
Don’t play that juvenile game with me. You purposely twisted my statement out of context by excluding my own admission it might have been just a coincidence.
“But it could just be coincidence because we are always “taken somewhere else” in our dreams.”
Did I not say that??? Can you even read???
I didn’t even make the statement to you. What you just did was dishonest and crooked as hell... If you can’t be honest then you have absolutely no credibility at all.
In your post 71, you are responding to post 70 which discusses the alleged "abduction phenomenon". You replied with, "Now that you brought that up... I have similar and faint subconscious hints that this may have happened to me when I was a young child." In the next sentence you say, " Dreams of being taken “somewhere else” in my sleep."
In context, you are responding to a previous statement of the alleged "abduction phenomenon" and it is in this context you use the word "taken".
"I didn’t even make the statement to you."
My first post was to larrytown (post 21)
My second post was to bigcat32 (post 33). It was you who first made a comment to me when I was posting to someone else.
Is it the rule on FR you can only post to people who have posted to you? If so, you're the one who broke that rule.
Lol, You still omitted the fact that I said >”it could be a coincidence”<.
More twisted context games... If you are going to play the game no one likes a cheater...
My post to 32 was a friendly gesture.
At which point you rudely pointed out you did not want me posting to you because you were being facetious and sarcastic with bigcat trying to start a fight with him.
More twisting and playing games. It is obvious your only intentions are to cause trouble and harm. Do you enjoy that sort of thing? looks like it...
UFO books do not make any significant money these days.
The big bucks is youtube videos—and that is where most of the kookiness and fraud can be found.
(That is one reason I prefer books on this topic—takes more hard work on the part of the author and reduces—though of course does not eliminate—the grift factor.)
Once an author makes a claim in a book they are stuck with it—even a new edition cannot erase the old one.
The Viking Kitties are aware.;-)
What is very true about that short article is how good people (of all levels of intellect) project their own positive natures onto malicious and/or stoopid people.
Hence, the need to remain vigilant and discerning.
