The Stranger was definitely his creative peak. Some good stuff after, for sure... but that one was the high point.
Probably so. I have never been a huge fan but he made some good songs.
I admire how he deals with front row seats. He doesn’t sell them. He got tired at looking at “big shots” who got those seats via scalpers. So he provides upgrades to ordinary fans and some get front row seats.
The Stranger, produced by the late great Phil Ramone, saved BJ’s career.
It’s my favorite BJ album...by a large margin.
